这个暑假我读了许多的课外书，其中我最喜欢的是J K罗琳写的《哈利波特与魔法石》。这本书使我对电脑都失去了兴趣，可见它的吸引力有多么大。你想知道这是为什么吗?那就听我慢慢道来。
首先这本书讲的是一个使每一个人都很感兴趣的魔法世界。里面的每一样事物都使人惊奇，这是第一个原因。其次是它的故事情节跌宕起伏，而且里面有些事情是你想也想不到的——比如魔法世界的“购物街”竟然要从一个酒吧的墙壁里穿过去；再比如去魔法学校——霍格沃茨的列车车站居然要从8号和9号站台之间走进去等。总之这本书里的事情都不是常识可以解答的，不过正是这样才能吸引住读者。
最后让我们来说说这本书中的人物，首先当然是主角——哈利波特了。哈利波特是一个以貌取人的人，在这本书里他一直以为斯内普是要害他，可事实上斯内普是在救他。其次他是个具有坚定信念的人，这点从他对抗最强大的黑巫师——伏地魔，并将他打败中可以看出。除了哈利，在这本书中我还比较喜欢韦斯莱兄弟，因为他们俩非常幽默，这给这本书无疑增加了许多亮点。
总之这本书是一本不可多得的书，因为不光是它的情节，而是他里面人物的精神。
