Sara was a very nice girl who had a gentle, appreciative ways of saying, such as “If you please” “Thank you” which was very charming. So, not only her teachers and classmates liked her, but also her servants liked her. There was a time when Sara became a poor and pitiful servant insulted by the snobbish headmaster of the school. In spite of this, she had never complained to anyone about the horrible suffering she had endured. Sara was confident, brave, optimistic and kind-hearted just like before and she had never given up her enthusiasm of life. No matter when, Sara acted like a princess, and on account of this, she had accomplished a great deal of miracles over and over again.
After reading this outstanding book, I was shocked by Sara, a little girl who suffered such unimaginable pain and tortures, but still had an opposite attitude towards life. What impresses me most is that Sara put on her act of being a princess when she wore thin bottom shoes, wading in the street of London. From my point of view, her spirit of being so strong-minded when she was in hard times is worth admiring.
Truly, every girl is a princess coming into common life. The “princess” I mean is not a princess living in the palace and being regarded as the apple of everyone’s eye. As the matter of fact, the “princess” is at heart. I am in the belief that every ordinary girl in the world can be a princess. The way for a girl to be a princess is quite simple. Just suppose! You can suppose yourself to be a princess, and go about your business confidently without caring how the others would treat you. If you want to have more resemblance to a princess, be more kind and try your best to help the people in need. The most important thing you are supposed to do is that to feel like a real princess at any occasion, particularly when you are involved with enormous melancholy. Do not feel the conditions you faced are extremely wretched and attempt to get rid of the feeling of hopelessness and uneasiness. The less you look like a princess, the more you need to feel like a princess at heart.
Every girl can be a princess if she can do all I mentioned, no matter she is rich, beautiful or not. To speak truthfully, I cannot do as well as Sara. However, I will exert myself on being a princess mentally.

“One Thousand and One Nights”
This book is simply wonderful. The tales involved are tales of the Persian Gulf, of Bagdhad, Arabia, and tales that we as adults should revisit for some enjoyable light reading that will make us smile and wonder at the old folklore of the Arabian Peninsula. Sinbad the Sailor is in there, as is Aladdin in it's original form, and the story begins of a king who is so upset by his wife's unfaithfulness that he will now only accept virgins for one night and then have them killed. A smart virgin begins her night with the infamous king by telling him stories, and she so fascinates him and enthralls him with her tales that the tales turn into folklore for readers of the ages. I won't tell you what happens in the end to the virgin princess, but you will find humor, enchantment, wisdom and fantasy for those times when stress becomes a factor in your life. I highly recommend the tale of "The Historic Fart" as a both funny and inspiring tale of human nature. Please buy this book and remember to become a nine -12 year old again as you read with curiosity and wonder at the fabulous enchanting, lively stories. I was beginning to wish my children were a bit younger so I could read these to them. Any child would enjoy these stories, and any adult will find them simply relaxing and a reflection of medieval Islam.

This holiday, I read a book named “Aladdin and the Enchanted Lamp”. It is a famous fairy tale written by an English auther named Judith Dean. It tells us a story about how a “good-for-nothing” becomes to a rich man by an enchanted lamp.

-------reading after a science paper
These days , I am busy preparing my dissertation which is about web usage mining . I read some English papers and learnt much from them . And now , I want to say something about a paper titled “Web Usage Mining :Discovery and Applications of Usage Patterns from Web Data”.
This is the first English paper I read about dissertation and gave me great help .
This paper is a review about web usage mining. It introduced web usage mining in detail . Although it is a little old for it was published in 2000 , its contents are very useful today . It is organized according to the sequence of web usage mining and the six main parts are introduction which tells me what is web usage mining , the sources and abstraction of web data , the three steps of web usage mining , taxonomy and project survey , websift overview , privacy issues . The third and fourth parts are most important . It had a list of existing project about web usage mining which I saw many times in other papers , but this paper is the one creating this list . Besides , it has been referred for more then twenty times . As we all know that , the higher the referred number is , the m
ore important the paper is , so I consider this paper to be an important and successful one in this region.
In my opinion , the success of this paper dues to three reasons . The first reason is the profound computer knowledge owned by the authors . Web usage mining relates to many subjects , such as artificial intelligence , ontology , semantic analysis , but the most basic knowledge is computer science . The four authors are all professors of department of computer science and engineering in university of Minnesota . For myself , I am not major in computer science and I am not very good at computers , so I feel a little difficult to understand technologies used in this region.
Second , they had read a large number of papers before they wrote this paper . There are fifty nine references listed after main contents . “Stand on the shoulders of giants” , this sentence tell us a truth : one can never successful all by oneself . And what’s more , learn from others can save a lot of time and energy , especially for us new learner . How to learn from others is a skill all of us should master , but learning doesn’t mean copy or plagiary . Other people’s knowledge and production is just our foundation , upon this foundation , we must have our own thoughts and creation. There are many remarks in this paper where referred other’s production.
Third , the authors had the experience of developing a web usage mining project . They don’t just engage in idle theorizing , so their comprehension on this issue is greatly profound. They know what we may meet in a real project development and they know how to resolve them . After reading this paper , I also read some other papers written in Chinese . Some of them are not based on real project and can not give useful resolution . Websift is the name of system they developed which can be used to data mining and analysis .
I wrote this article not only because it gave me much help in preparing my dissertation , but also because it tells me how to study and how to do research . Honesty and preciseness are two essential making a researcher must have . Har
