2.适当补加，语意连贯
在写作中如果仅罗列提示中的要点，这样拼凑出的文章读起来难免干巴生涩，东一言、西一语，跳跃性大，不知所言，就好比一堆缺少血肉的骨架。要使文章有血有肉，就要补充一些过渡衔接性的语句，让语意连贯自然。所谓补加，就是在合乎所给情景以及英语习惯的前提下，适当扩展补充句子，或添加一些提示中没有提及但对烘托主题又十分必要的信息。

中国人民大学附属中学考点的考生纷纷走出考场。澎湃新闻注意到，大部分考生表情轻松，还有一些考生在微笑交谈。据澎湃新闻在考点外随机采访的多名考生反映，“今年高考英语北京卷的不算难”“英语试卷感觉比做题的数学简单多了”“英语试题都比较常规，题型、难度跟平时考试都差不多，英语作文难度也不大。”
现场还有一男考生告诉澎湃新闻，今年高考英语北京卷的作文里又出现了高考英语作文中的常客“李华”。今年的作文是，李华要写一封邀请信，邀请Jim为班级开展一场线上的英语写作交流活动。据这名考生介绍，“这几年受疫情影响，学校各种线上活动很多。平时老师布置的作业，包括自己考前做的作文练习时，都写过跟今年高考类似的作文，感觉自己像是押中了题。”
结合生物学科特点，高考生物试题有机融入新冠疫情素材，从新冠病毒的遗传物质、免疫应答、疫情防控措施中的生物学原理，以及疫情所致的生活方式改变和影响等方面进行考查。有英语作文以“外籍教师因疫情滞留英国”和居家学习为背景命题。
国家经济社会、科学技术、生产生活领域取得的发展成就成为今年高考试题的重要素材。以物理试卷为例，我国自主研制的运-20重型运输机、“嫦娥四号”探测器、清洁能源的应用前景等内容出现其中，极富时代性、前瞻性。
