　　《星际动物园》，是一则绝妙的讽刺故事。

　　故事的内容是：雨果教授从别的星球上带来了与地球人不同的生命体——长相怪异的马蜘蛛。大家都争着去围观，却不知道，自己此时也正在被“围观”着，大家只是觉得新奇、有趣，而马蜘蛛们也是如此。大家都以玩味的态度去观看，去对待他人，而雨果教授就是那个处于中间的人。

　　“那是我参观过的最好看的动物园。”

　　小说结尾小马蜘蛛这一句话，给了我当头一棒的感觉。这篇小说中，作者以人类为中心的思维模式开了一个玩笑。

　　小说中，地球人对于雨果教授带来的星际新产物产生了很大的好奇心，他们排起长队，为的是看看“雨果教授又会带来什么稀奇古怪的动物，一饱大家眼福。”面对来自不同星球的生物，地球人没有对生命本身的奇妙感到不可思议，也并没有想和其他生物去平等交谈，而只是处于一种看关在笼子里面的动物一样的心理去观看这些外星生物，并且觉得好玩、奇特。他们都是抱着一种玩味的心态去看那些外星生物的。而这种观看，满足了他们的窥视欲和好奇心。然而，到了小说结尾处时，我知道了，人类也不过是其他生命物种参观的动物而已，这就是这篇文章对人类以自我为中心的心态的绝妙讽刺。
