《飘》，是我最喜爱的书。喜欢斯佳丽的勇敢坚强，喜欢瑞特的机智果断，喜欢

　　我的感觉是矛盾的，

　　是讨厌却又不得

　　不敬佩她。

　　她是个非常有个性的人物，

　　她一生中爱了两个男人，

　　而她却没一个是

　　了解的。如果她了解阿希礼，那她就不会爱他；如果她了解瑞特，那她就不会失

　　去他。

　　她一直以来是辜负瑞特的，

　　她只是不停追寻着自己梦中的王子——阿希礼。

　　整部书中，我最为喜欢的人物就是瑞特。他勇敢、

　　执着，他能那么深地爱着斯佳丽十几年不变。他想保护斯佳丽，宠爱斯佳丽，照

　　料斯佳丽，让她事事称心，而斯佳丽却拒绝了。他说过，再永恒的爱也会有磨光

　　的时候，而他的爱，是被斯佳丽，被阿希礼，被斯佳丽愚蠢的固执磨光的。他的

　　心，死了。当他女儿离开他时，他的心，再也回不来了。他说过，他从来没有那

　　个耐心把剪碎的裤子缝好，

　　再告诉自己这就和新的一样，

　　自欺欺人罢了。

　　文字优美，情节跌荡起伏、扣人心弦，虽然其中由于作者的主观因素，对于美国

　　南北战争的评价并不客观和全面，但以文学角度来说，这绝对是一部绝世佳作，

战争与和平、生与死、爱情，是文学创作中永恒的主题，因为它们之中包含着对人生的思考和体验。而由“畅销书”逐渐成长为经典的《飘》，是这三种元素都具备了的，且由本书拍摄成的电影《乱世佳人》，曾经荣获奥斯卡数项大奖，一九四零年夏初本片在上海上映四十余日，便开了外国影片映演以来未有的记录，由此可见这本书的价值。
关于这本书的主人公郝思嘉，则体现了一个女孩的蜕变过程，她是多变的，她有着父亲的爱尔兰血统，也有母亲的贵族气息。可到底是父亲的狂野、不服输的性格占了上风，郝思嘉在为人处世的过程中，处处显现了她不达目的决不罢休的品性，在这一点上，她的成功是无人能比的。但她究竟是大户人家的女儿，到底是要学一套礼节规范的，于是在种种宴会上，她便极力做出有教养的样子来，可性格上的安静是永远也学不来的。她不像别的上流社会的小姐，心里明明想这样做却不敢表达出来，她敢做敢当，知道卫希里要和韩媚兰订婚了，就找了个机会向卫希里倾诉了自己的衷肠。她要让他明白自己是爱慕他的。可在当时，她这样的举动就要被别人给唾骂了。她却有胆量这样做。
郝思嘉虽说是小说中一个虚构的人物，可我感觉她似乎就存在于我的日常生活之中，而且是那样逼真，是一个有血有肉的人。上帝创造了这样一个矛盾体，放纵、优雅，都在一个人物身上体现，使她那样具有野性的魅力，也难怪小说中无数的男性都被她迷得神魂颠倒了。塑造了这样一个人物，也算是作者密西尔女士的一大成功了。

　　整篇小说以美国南北战争为社会环境，描述出了那个时代女性的社会地位，以及拥有独立自主意识的女性们站起来改变现状的故事。在战前，这是一个男性为主宰的世界，男性在各方面压制着女性，妇女被禁锢在家庭里, 失去了经济自主能力, 她们获得社会地位和经济保障的惟一出路是结婚生子。不仅如此，男性还在精神上压制着女性，他们可以在一些家庭琐事上迁就自己的妻子，但是决不允许她们插手外面的事情。
