The Railway Children
Roberta, Peter and Phyllis were lived with their parents in London. But one person put some letters into their father’s desk. So police man said he was a spy, and that he’d sold Government secrets to another country. Then their father was in prison. And they had to leave their house in London and were going to live in the country, in a dear little white house near a railway line. They had to play “being poor” for a while. That’s why they called “The Railway Children”.
