On Undue Early Education
From this picture, we can see that an egg is sitting in front of a blackboard with a pair of thick glasses, and a hen is teaching it very complex and difficult mathematics, expecting the egg to become knowledgeable and versatile at an early age. This picture actually mirrors a common phenomenon in most Chinese families—undue early education, which may just have adverse effects.
To begin with, undue early education will deprive children of their happy childhood. Secondly, according to scientific researches, undue early exploitation of children's mind may hinder their natural development. Last but not least, the heavy burden of early education may make children get tired of future study in school.
In short, I am strongly opposed to undue early education and I hope that parents and educational authorities can help to reduce the heavy tasks that fall on children. Let us make joint efforts to give a colorful and happy childhood back to our children.

Experience or Fresh Perspective
As is shown in the cartoon, a job applicant is being interviewed by his potential boss who tells him that while he is less experienced than ideal, his fresh perspective is appreciated. This cartoon reminds us that both experience and fresh perspective matter in job hunting.
As is known to all, experience is usually what employers value because an experienced employee means higher efficiency, better profits, and less cost of training. However, sometimes employers would like to recruit people with little experience. The seemingly confusing decision actually is very necessary and advisable since without the bounds of traditional thinking, those with new perspectives are more likely to drive innovation, which can yield an incredible return. For instance, on many occasions, agricultural products sell badly by means of traditional marketing model, but could sell well online.
To conclude, both experience and fresh perspective are important. Therefore, we should constantly practice creative thinking to make fresh perspective become our best advantage in the coming job hunting.

Over-reliance on Computers
The picture ironically depicts a vicar who fails to give a sermon on how to simplify our life because he lost all the materials he needed when his computer crashed. This picture is trying to tell us that over-reliance on computers sometimes makes a mess of our life.
Admittedly, computers bring us much convenience. However, once going overboard, all the convenience might turn into disaster. Nowadays, many young people like working with computers. But what if the computers break down? All of the efforts you have made for days or even for months will become nothing. If you are a teacher who is about to begin class only to find you have forgotten bringing your USB disk, you will not know what to do next and the class will be doomed to failure.
In summary, computers do simplify our life to some extent, but we should not rely on them too much. At least, we should have a backup plan.
Topic 4 不让孩子输在起跑线上

You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.

Excessive Enthusiasm for Children's Education
In the above picture, several kids are running with heavy bags on their backs. The caption under the picture reads:“Start education early and never let children lose at the starting line”, which vividly reflects the excessive enthusiasm for children's education in China.
Some parents are always too enthusiastic about their children's early education and expect them to achieve success at an early age. However, this is certainly against the law of education. Education should not be spoiled by excessive enthusiasm. Then what should we do? In the first place, we should abide by the law of education. Children should be given enough time for games and physical activities in their childhood. Secondly, we should try to reduce the heavy learning burdens on the children. Thirdly, what we need to do is to inspire the children and broaden their horizons.
Every child has the right to enjoy his or her childhood. If we really love our children, we should learn to enrich their life with various extracurricular activities instead of putting endless tasks and burdens on them.
Topic 5 消费者权益保护

Consumer Rights Protection
The above picture employs personification to reflect a universal social phenomenon in China. In the picture, several pigs are talking about their food, and it turns out that only the food on Mar.15 is green and healthy, which symbolizes that only on Mar.15 can consumer rights be focused on and well protected. Actually, consumer rights should be protected by every means consistently. Now comes the question of how to achieve this goal.
Firstly, the central government and the local authorities should reinforce the depth and width of consumer rights protection through varied means including legislation, supervision, and other methods. Secondly, the government should establish some professional organs for the protection of consumer rights and try to improve the effectiveness of the organs concerned. Thirdly, consumers themselves should raise the awareness of rights protection and learn to seek help from accessible legal channels.
Anyway, there is still a long way to go in the improvement of consumer rights protection. We should still make efforts for the benefit of all consumers.
